The Requirement

Sheppee International urgently needed to increase its office accommodation at Elvington near York, in order to meet the engineering company's rapid expansion.

The Solution

The building was delivered by Foremans from its original site near Warrington, and consisted of 14 12m x 3m steel-framed modules that provided a total approximate floor area of 502 sqm over two storeys. 

Facilities included a reception area, glass partitioned offices, internal and external staircases, male, female and disabled toilets, and a kitchen area. 

The building was installed onto previously prepared foundations and was erected over a two-day period.
