New Day Surgery Facilities

The Requirement

South Warwickshire General Hospital NHS Trust had a need for a new building to modernise the service and free up critical bed space for elective surgery. 

The Solution

The single-storey wing was designed and built by Foremans in just three months and accommodates a 12-bed ward, pre-operative assessment clinic, waiting area and reception. Future expansion with the addition of a second storey will be possible without the need for decanting. 

The building is fully compliant with NHS Health Technical Memoranda and Health Building Notes. 

The new building was constructed off-site, limiting disruption to staff and patients.
