Safeguarding the wellbeing of our employees, customers and visitors is a top priority for Foremans. Everyone in the business, from the board of Directors to installation teams on site, is dedicated to ensuring that we adopt a consistent and proactive approach to health and safety.
All our activities are carried out in a way designed to protect the health, safety and welfare of employees, contractors, sub-contractors, customers and anyone else who comes into contact with our work.
Full compliance with health & safety regulations
Health and safety information, instructions and supervision are made available to every employee to ensure we comply with the requirements and the spirit of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, and all regulations and approved codes of practice made under this Act.
Keeping our sites safe
All Foremans staff with a responsibility for visiting customer sites are CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) qualified. CSCS keeps a database of all businesses working in construction that have achieved and can demonstrate they have attained an agreed level of occupational competence.
On target for zero health & safety incidents
Health & safety is kept at the forefront of everyone’s mind through ongoing communication, training and regular ‘toolbox’ talks, so that all employees are fully informed and up to date.
We recently launched an ‘Aim for Zero’ Campaign to help us achieve our objective of zero incidents and accidents.
